Mechanicals and Body
I have owned this car as my daily commuter since May 2014.  It has a Malone tune.

The following items were replaced by VW under their corrosion warranty in summer of 2014:
 - hood, both front fenders, trunk.   The rear quarter panels were also repaired under the corrosion warranty.

Timing belt,water pump and coolant done at 257,000 km in August 2017; Clutch and single mass flywheel conversion were done at the same time.

Since my ownership,  I have replaced/ repaired:
- both front strut mounts
- both lower control arm bushings
- wiper transmission
- auxiliary heater repair
- 3 out of 4 wheel bearings
- 2 brake calipers and flushed
- brake pads and rotors on all 4 corners
- turn signal stalk replaced (2018)
- heater flapper control motor repaired (November 2018)
- 3rd brake light fixed
- new front brake pads (March 2019)

Tires on vehicle - Kumho Solus TA11 - black, round and quiet, and they seem to have good treadlife.  All 4 tires measure between 7+/32" and 8+/32" tread depth.
